I seem to be combining the Swedish bitches today. Heartburn, reflux and headache. Eyes are fine though, so not all issues have been exported to the Netherlands.

It seems that Latin doesn't have a word for a "common" cold, just for more serious stuff like influenza. I guess the Romans were so BRAVE that a simple cold was nothing

  I'll bet a Roman would have told you to get up at 3 a.m., plunge into a freezing cold river to toughen yourself up,
   then run home in the pre-dawn darkness and eat hot food and drink a big jug of wine!

I'm having a mild simple cold too. Nothing bad. It makes me sleepy. Found myself fallen asleep, when getting sheets of the bed of a daughter, to put in the washing machine. 
Hopefully the sleep will have made my heartburn and reflux less.
