It's too damp and hot here. Think I'm going to hide in the shower.. um, for the next 8 hour (or so).

Ah, no.. no can do. Need to get my grey shrimps (at the fishmonger's) this afternoon.

Wøt the føck, it's now a week and a half I've waited for the suckers (I badly wanna make shrimp-croquettes) and..

^ No worries.. but I think you misread there. Like last Tuesday they did have the already peeled ones.. but I'm specifically looking for unpeeled grey shrimps.. so I can peel them myself. This, 'cause I like to make a broth from their peelies (um, the so-called 'piemeltjes-bouillon').

Said broth I like to use in my roux that's going to be part of the ragout for my shrimps- croquettes.

But, gotta run.. my artichokes are ready..

totally lost my drive. Not sleeping well, thinking too much, and stressed has creeped into my muscles in my neck, shoulders and back. Haven't figure out how to kick the cycle.

Partly wondering if my body is in shut down mode to prepare for the long weekend. Blitzing the main floor and doing lots of purging and organizing while the kids are at their Dad's.

Give in now and then.

Your body has years of tension to release, and that won't be gone in a fortnight.

Find a way to spoil your back, shoulders and neck. Give yourself time to adjust and relax. The urge to go blitzing in the weekend will very likely come back, once you have adjusted to the house being just for you.

Very true. I have to try and move things around in my head and think of things in a different way. Slowly but surely.

The guy who was loading my machine at work today dropped a Gatoraid bottle in it which got stuck in the workings and took a half hour for me to dig out, luckily it did not damage anything.  He does not work for me but for the company that I am working for.
