Current job has gone to poo already.
Much like the old place is doing currently, people are leaving but not getting replaced, leaving more shit for others to do.
I'm expected to fill in for the admin girl that's finishing on Friday, and do my own job, and maybe even fill in downstairs with sit down tax appointments.
They want me to triple my value to them for the same paltry pay (the pay was ok to begin with but with interest rates rises and higher expenses since, it's now shit)

My stepdad Peter is in hospital. He was feeling unwell for a few days, went to the doctor who sent him for a CT scan and it was found that he had an infected appendix. So he had that taken out, now he has peritonitis (sp).

He's 82 and he had appendicitis? Never heard of it happening in someone that old before.

I'm hoping he gets better quickly so he can go home which is where he wants to be.
