The pathology person made bruises on my inner elbow by making two attempts at drawing blood. The last person there to do it didn't hurt me or make a bruise.

.Did you make sure to drink a shit load of water before hand? I've found recently that that makes a BIG difference. The pathologist finds it easier to find a blood vessel and I barely feel it anymore. ( I used to find it VERY painful)

I don't like water much unless it's very cold. But you're right. I only drank enough beforehand to take my meds and to get rid of my dry mouth symptoms.

Yeah I'm not big on drinking water, but I like pain and problems with blood draws much less, plus its only for a few hours before the pathology visit, just pound back like a litre or 1.2-2. Try it next time (there is always a next time, I have one coming up)

This doctor was a specialist. He was Asian and had a very strong accent. He asked if I had any questions and of course I only thought of some when I got back to the car.
