There's been several car break-ins in my new neighbourhood recently.

My car is garaged, behind an auto door, car also locked, and internal door to garage locked from inside as well.
No front facing windows on my villa either which is at the rear of the block, so to get in via any other window the perps would have to jump over 2-3 fences to get to my courtyard.
Still, I'm not taking any chances 

Does your car have an alarm?

My car is in a carport and can't be seen from the road. It has central locking, immobilizer (doesn't every car have this now?) and a very loud alarm. It's pitch black in there at night as well.

Your car is worth a hell of a lot more than mine though and it's a good thing you have it locked away safely.

I imagine my car would be highly coveted by thieves. I think it has an alarm, I've accidentally set it off once or twice.

I'm still not comfortable that my garage door itself is secure. It's a double size auto door with no lock. One could probably use one of those hi-lift jacks to pry it open, assuming the neighbours sleep like the dead and won't hear anything.

I know, right? After a gazillion of them I finally had enough. Blame Frankfurt and Munich. People everywhere, delays, overzealous security checks, you nmae it.

Although I've now decided to always make sure I have lounge access. That way I can avoid some of the idiots at least.

I got annoyed today because the boarding attendant was taking people's phones and scanning their boarding passes herself. When I got up there I tried to scan it myself and when she reached for it I pulled it back, but she reached again real big and took it out of my hand and scanned it. I've never seen anything like that. Even before the pandemic I always scanned my own pass, so I have no clue why anyone would think that sort of thing is acceptable now. Phones are disgusting and she touched a bunch of phones before touching mine. I had some stuff to clean it when I got to my seat, but I still walked down the bridge completely stunned wondering why I didn't have the guts to stand up for myself. 

Told off one of those once. I KNOW HOW TO DO THIS, PLEASE KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF MY PHONE.

I used to like Munich Airport but the last few times have been an absolute pain.

Got my third vaccine dose today. Not too dissimilar reaction to my first AZ dose. Bad chills then my body turning into a furnace, rapid heartbeat and now today I'm stiff and sore and have zero energy. I can't even rest properly in bed because my hips hurt.

All worth it for that negligible extra amount of antibodies against the current covid strains, amirite?
I think I'll totally skip the forth dose.

I turned in my two weeks notice, and all 3 heads of fluffy (the people in charge of me in my department) acknowledged my departure from being a janitor at Walmart...

I don't give a shit about policy as much anyways... but accusing me, and making me feel worthless in my job became too much.

Now I'm wheezy and I keep having waves of nausea. I did a RAT and tested negative. I mean, with the virus so prevalent now the odds of unknowingly having it while getting the vax isn't unprobable.
