Your probably less liable to cut yourself if you use the sharpest knives you can, because that way you need apply lesser force to cut.
Last night's synthetic labwork went a treat, cut 2 hours or so down to less than 10 minutes using microwave chemistry. The vapors from what I was producing though were singularly irritant, and my eyes were watering like crazy. Splashed my face off with water and stuck on a welding mask to go to sleep. Although I did find in the morning that the product had crystallized perfectly. The fumes were foul though, powerfully lachrymatory (tear gas effect)
Although now the bottom floor of the house is permeated with the most delicious cherry bakewell scent, its intense, like a mixture of cherry bakewells and marzipan. Smells good enough to eat, if such were possible.
