My nephew ended up with it in 2nd grade I think, no one else in the house got it, but he was miserable.

It's a different one. Most of the time you do not need medication for HFMD, but for impetigo you do.

Impetigo is weird.

I remember my kid, toddler, two years old, kissing an impetigo spotted kid straight on the mouth. (I had picked up the ointment for treating it for the mother)
So, there I was waiting for impetigo to happen at home too. Nothing happened.
Half a year later, no kid with impetigo in school, or preschool. Out of the blue, my kid gets it.

Some kids keep having impetigo, in spite of any offered treatment. Luckily my kid wasn't one of those.

HMRC have fucked up our tax credits on the basis of a clerical error - when I called to renew our claim in the summer with income details they incorrectly entered Mel's income (carer's payments) as self employed income, so when their head office cross checked they found both the 'declared' non-existent self employed profits and her actual carer income from the tax records, they have counted both (i.e. double counted) and despite being advised by their processing dept that an error has been made they have refused to restore our correct payments, taking an 'overpayment' clawback of more than £70 a week for income we never had. We're appealing but aren't holding out much hope, its just as well I've been able to increase my hours at work to compensate for the wrongly deducted money. Arrogant jobsworth bastards.  :deadhorse:

Pain across my back about 3 fingers down from my waist.  Not unmanageable, just annoying right now.  Hope it doesn't become worse.  will do heating pad, anti-inflammatories, stretching, etc.
