My flight from JFK to Washington got cancelled less than an hour before it was scheduled to depart. What a great way to arrive in the US after a 13-hour trip. Bloody AA booked me on a flight tomorrow but said that since they weren't to blame, they didn't have to find me a hotel.

The nice people at hotel reservations at JFK did find me a room, however. I'm writing this at Hotel Ramada something on Long Island, for which I'm paying myself.

You should look around. I believe that the greater New York area has more people living in it than all of Sweden.

The taxi driver said that 22 million people live in the area. I think the current head count in Sweden is around nine million.

I'm a paranoid one. I don't want to hit the button lest I get some asshole from legal bugging me about how I'm spending my lunch hour. I don't even go to porn sites but apparently the private forum WolFish and I use to leave each other notes about what's for dinner is no longer kosher.

Dang...thats one uppity workplace. Do they realise they are treating their employees like children? I wouldn't know how to work around it unless I was there...could probably find a way around it...or find another internet connection.

I am very aware of this.  I delete cookies and change passwords, never access any areas of it from work that would be questionable, and count on not attracting enough attention that one of the IT guys bothers to install a keylogger. That's one of the reasons I'm being careful with the new system.
