She was scared, even twenty minutes later when she made it home, safely.
Every night she sees them, but has not hit one until now.
She also sees deer most every night. She once hit a deer, three cars ago, and that tore the Hell out of the front of that car.
That car was not drivable after hitting the deer.
She was scared for months after that.

This was nothing like that!

This new boss with the alzheimers is irking me. Mainly because of the double standards.

Just as I was starting, they were interviewing for a new receptionist, and they were whinging that their preferred candidate needed a week off in the near future to get ovarian cyst surgery. Apparently it's polite to disclose those sorts of things in the interview when the hirer asks. But apparently the polite isn't required to go both ways, and one should simply go into a new job not knowing that their principle employer has a worsening permanent neuro-degenerative disease. I would have 'politely' walked away from the job offer had I known.

My son works for Walmart now.
It is a part of his duty to "clean up" all the junk left behind, corral the forgotten carts, report any safety issues like lighting, bent barricades, stolen signs, etc.

People actually steal the signs from a Walmart parking lot, especially the Handicap Parking signs. WTF!?!
Those signs are right there under the bright lights and it takes special tools to remove them!

Of course, to some a  "Sawzall"  IS a special tool.
