Still haven't responded. I'm starting to think they're stringing me along because I'm only a backup candidate. All this time between emails is probably spent waiting to hear from their preferred candidate, who's perhaps stringing them along because they have other offers on the table. Either that or they're just really slack and slow. My patience is waning, their aptitude as a potential employer is waning.
The kicker is that that they'll probably change their mind about me on the basis that I can't start soon enough (have to give 4 weeks notice at current job), but if they stopped fart-arsing about I could have put my notice in last Wednesday.
Reminds me of that job I applied for last year where they took 5 weeks to finally respond to my application with a "We need to fill the role ASAP, we know it's short notice but interview time not negotiable, sorry!!" I mean, their urgency wasn't my problem, what the fuck were they doing for the past 5 weeks?
