My quick bitch is that both of my parents have Covid. Peter (my stepdad) got it from the golf club and is now on antiviral medication because he has asbestosis. My mum tested positive yesterday. She sounded pretty bad on the phone, she was in bed with chills, a headache and a very sore throat.
I thought they wouldn't get it, living in the country as they do.
On another note, a guy I know who also volunteers at the Salvos also has Covid. This is after he's been wearing a mask and gloves since Covid restrictions first came about in Western Australia. All those precautions and he still got it.
