Also, I did not know that bananas had fiber.

  They really do, especially if you eat them unpeeled, as one of my Austrian ancestors did when new to America!

My cat is getting a dark stripe down his back.

  My former landlady's oldest cat scratched me once when I touched him too close to his ribs.
   Ever after, I touched only the dark stripe down the middle of his back.  I thought of it as the safe zone.

I am going to have to change a few things to fit in the television I intend to buy.

  At first glance at this post, I had a      moment and thought you meant you wanted to fit some objects  *inside*  the TV. 
   I pictured the old CRT type of TV, thus showing my age.  Of course, you couldn't have fit stuff into a CRT either. 
   That particular aspect of my little vision just showed my lack of think.
