How is it that I'm the only autistic I know who doesn't absolutely require background noise at all times and in fact even enjoys a bit of FUCKING QUIET every once in a while

I'm a freak no matter where I go

I don't always like background noise. To go to sleep I prefer it to be quiet. Still have to put up with outside noises (like traffic and birds) and if Kayleigh is watching tv loudly, I ask her to turn it down.

I just never seem to meet anyone else in real life.  Everyone needs their video games or their tv

Doesn't matter anyway.  Sooner or later everyone either leaves me or starts yelling at me for things that aren't even my fault.

My cordless drill is also on the fritz. The batteries don't hold charge anymore.

My boss has changed to another boss. I've cleaned/sanitised their desk, keyboard and mouse and shelves but I still haven't met them. I know my partner and I are just the lowly cleaners but I do think the boss should make an effort and even just leave a note for us.
