My back and side yards are loaded with cherry and peach blossoms. They all opened up over about three days of constant rain and super spring-like temperatures. WOW!!
Smells are fabulous!
I mislaid your address. Will you give it to me again?
*inhales and dreams...
I definitely need a cherry tree...I think I'm making that a goal for this year.
The sooner you plant, the better chance you will have of blooms next spring. I can recommend cherry trees for their blossoms, but if you have the wherewithal to grow a real producing tree, you will have cherries for many years to come.
Last year I planted plum trees and they have yet to show themselves, even though they seem healthy in the fall. I fear that my plum trees (just four) did not get a satisfactory winter rest period.
