It is far better for people to hate you for doing the right thing than for people to love you for doing the wrong thing. Never ever forget that.

I wish my family would decide what they want to do for Christmas this year.

I sure need a kolinsky sable watercolor brush for christmas, if you know somebody who wants to get me something.  :zoinks:

Ask one of your bitches to buy it for you.  :hahaha:

Okay, will you buy me a kolinsky sable watercolor brush?  :zoinks:

They probably did a 'paint correction' where they just buff/cut the paint until the scratches disappear.
Stupid dealers deliberately present the car to you in a dim showroom, or make you wait till late afternoon so you can't see the swirls in the sun.

I'm taking my car to a pro detailer for it's birthday in march. A hand polish should be all it needs I reckon, plus the odd paint touch up here and there.
Yep, they did the dim showroom thing.

That's cool that you're treating your car. :)

What is it with people and colonoscopies?  I've had several and haven't found the prep, the test or the afterwards to be inconvenient.  Mammograms are becoming quite uncomfortable however.  I feel men should have an annual testiclegram.

Some people find colonoscopy quite painful, apparently.

It's actually not the procedure, it's the prep, the lack of sleep the night before, and the inability to eat real food for 24+ hours to make sure your colon is clean for the Doctor to see properly with the scope.  After I got a good nights sleep and some real food, I felt better.  They gave me anesthesia that knocked me out completely until I woke up in the recovery room, the anesthesia's effects can also linger for awhile.  I was told not to drive or do complicated tasks until today.

Yeah, I hated not being allowed to eat anything. The procedure itself was not that dramatic. I did get a painkiller but that's about it.

After my stepdad had a colonoscopy, he had lunch then went and played golf.

Kayleigh has had one too, afterwards she came home and played video games (what else?).
