Welcome back.

We did not even have time to start a betting thread on how long it would take you to return to the fold.

Good for quitting the booze, and if quitting the meds work for you, that's great.

Welcome back. I agree with hyke--well done quitting the alcohol.

Congratulations on quitting the meds and liquor.  Not every remedy fits every person.  Sometimes you have to listen to your body, think and come up with solutions that are right for you.

I'll give you another chance, see if you got the help you so obviously needed.

To be honest, no, I did not. That's why I'm thinking about moving, because there's no one in my town who can help me or any other adults with autism.

I did quit alcohol and the antidepressants several weeks ago, because it seems like they were only helping to make me eat more and gain weight. Maybe even fueling my foolish behavior on here.

Quitting the booze sounds like a wise choice.  Have you had any bad effects from quitting the meds?   :orly:

Well, I was throwing shit around and punching the shit out of my keyboard the first few nights without Welbutrin and Serequel. And having rather psychotic thoughts. But I guess I'm over that now.

Good on you for kicking that shit!!!

Quite a warm welcome-back I have received, considering what I did. Thanks.

Seems like this site likes to time out a lot now. My keyboard should be scared. Very scared. :evillaugh:

Ah well. Sometimes shit happens. Good on you for quitting the alcohol. Would not have gone well with the pretty strong meds you were on.

It is a shame there is no help for autistic adults in your town. So I hope your moving goes well.

Welcome back too. :)

At least you took the effort.

Duke, so you ditched the antidepressants and it was them that cause you to behave in the way you did. You went cold turkey and it threw you for a loop and you are better off without them?
Well done.

You think I mean it? Absolutely.

Antidepressants in my opinion are made to fit the 90%'ers. If some one is different to most people in their neurological wiring it makes it very much a hit and miss approach to treatment.
It is not the fault of the people who make these things. They can not make it as all inclusive to every neurotype and every variation.

I did the same with antidepressants. They reacted badly with me and made me psychotic.

You may be talking crap here but I really don't think so.

Welcome back. Hope you feel OK about being here. I don't think you will get judged badly on prior behaviour. (Unless you turn into an asshat.)
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

Yes Duke, if you follow richtard and become a complete noo-noo head, you never know where you'll end up.

I mean, hunting for agates and posting your peter all over the net is hardly something to aspire to.

Odeon's hard at work on fixing it.
