At an Indian I always have chicken tikka massala waith pilau rice and a nann bread. At Chinese I always havel lemon or orange chicken with fried rice, and at the pizza takeaway I always get a hawaiian, which is bacon and pineapple.

I'm not one for experimenting at all

Have you tried the other types of nann?  Or the duck in pancakes?  It really could be worth the risk if you haven't  :P

I've tried garlic nann, and some others before I moved over here. They were nice, but I prefered the plain stuff. Now I'm lucky just to get the basics in the Indian takeaways. They are not as good as the ones in Scotland.

I've tried duck dishes before and it's OK, but I find it a bit chewy. I'm really weird about the textures of things that I eat.

You must make sure you try peshwari  :P  And the duck is dryer with the pancakes, the sauce is so good too.

My daughter and I just got home from the Chinese restaurant, where we ordered shrimp lo mein and combination fried rice.  I had hot and sour soup and my daughter had wonton soup.

No deserts?  :P

Anyone had Japanese miso soup? Apparently it is an acquired taste. I quite like it.

My daughter and I both like miso soup.

No deserts?  :P

We both got fortune cookies, but we brought them home with the leftovers.

I have had the ones you make at home, only once though. I wouldn't like tuna added to it but noodles and sweetcorn, yum. :)

Which is pretty good for a kid who just wanted to eat mashed / schmushed bland foods until they were 9!

^ Don't remember, other than it was in the 'never eat again' basket. Which for me, lover of most foods means...'pretty close to shit, whatever that tastes like...do not eat again, EVER'.

Wow, that's really saying something.

I don't think I would have even tried it, so you're a lot braver than I am and I like most foods too.

I wouldn't even eat that if I was wasted.
