Ah hah.  I just figured out what you are referencing here.  The first quote was from Butterflies and the second from PPK.  I knew where to go looking for that conversation and it took me a while to track it down.  Was the first thing you did after joining run a search for "PM Quatermass" or "PM video"?  It's not like a search for PM alone will net you anything useful.

Your script for how to be a "strict mod" was rather entertaining so I do have to thank you for that.

Usernames have been changed on there I think. It is possible for them to change your name so I can't see why they wouldn't do it if you asked nicely.

If it is just up to an admin to do it it would be a pain in the ass and I could see why he would not want to.  If it was like here that site is so big it would be total chaos

Without Admin tools the mods can't change names, but I can allow you to create a new account and then ban your old one.  You lose your post-count, but get your name change.
