My skin is getting dry (-ish). Dislike the stuff but think I need to buy me some moisturising shite.
Up your water intake and watch your sodium intake will help as well.

Long, hot showers or baths are drying to the skin.  I find a moisturizer with shea butter or honey in it does a better job or keeping my hands softened.  I don't think I would like living in a dry climate, New Orleans is pretty humid, but I still get dry hands from simply daily work.

Thanks, those are good advices. My water (liquid) intake is okay, I reckon. Base here, is a two litres bottle of (ja, bottled) water (Spa Blue) on a daily basis. One, or two max, cups of coffee (coffee 'steals' water from one's system).. and then there's tea, orange juice, soup, etc..

About the sodium intake.. I don't know. Could be, with my cooking adventures, I sometimes go a tadski over the daily recommended amount. Perhaps at times.. but OTOH I rarely eat processed, prea-made in some 'factory', stuff.. which tends to contain a lot of salt.

Still haven't bought any moisturiser.. most of the shite my skin really hates. It goes itchy a/o spotty red-ish and basically is irritated by it. Wouldn't know where to start looking for a proper one.

And yes, your honour.. long hot showers I am guilty of. Lurve them.. but ja, they can have that drying effect on the skin.

It's wise to remember where the edge of the car door is in relation to your head when putting things into said car.

That's why I'm glad I have a :icequeen:.

I shared the hospital room with THREE people with detached retinas. One of them was on holiday in Spain when it happened.

They just don't make retinas like they used to.  They're all made in China these days.

By children, presumably.
