That is my late nan's area & my aunty's area. The models keep changing now so the forecast has gone down a fair bit.
I don't expect anything less on the sunshine coast this time of year. I still remember that time we drove from Bundaberg to Brisbane after my nan's 100th bday. Took us 12 hours, due to detouring around all the flooding and road blocks!! Then when we went back up that way for her funeral several months later, we got 150mm overnight!

I'm trying to... but she's in one of those denial phases... she's a conservative mindset lady who grew up and left the Mennonite Church. She's finding it ridiculous what OXMC and Muskrat are planning... but some people in her circle are all for it.. which makes me feel disgusted inside.

All this stuff DOGE is doing is just making excuses to give more money to the rich elites that fund the Modern Day Republican Party (which they're a bunch of fucking cowards with MAGA at the moment).

Kayleigh's family live in Toowoomba and it floods very easily there. I saw it myself years ago and that was just average rain.
