Dad told me about the time he was in Myanmar, and the hull of an imperial Japanese plane which looked like the one Parts was looking at was used as a shelter for the tribal people in a particular area he was passing by on boat. I guess people could use the hull for practically anything?

I think it's a crap price without wings, Parts.
You know parts.
 :green:

Very interesting!

Long ago a photographer "friend" had a chance to go to a surplus junk yard for old war planes with a relative. I was busy elsewhere in music.
I loaned him two cameras, several lenses and twenty rolls of film and told him to take pics of everything. He brought back ten rolls.
It was actually kind of sad and still, the whole thing was fun to go through.

I ran across a site (Dark Roasted Blend, I think it was) that showed many old planes and boats used for housing.
I'l try to find it again.
Some have done cool stuff with gutted planes and even upside down boats to live in.

My brother knew a guy who used old school buses as warehouses for his business

Three different bands I worked for had old school busses converted to living quarters for short touring gigs they had.

When the schools are tired of fixing old buses, there is still a lot of meat left on those old bones.

My son still has not gotten his drivers license.
But he took it upon himself to enroll in a driving school and has just completed his first week of training, after I pick him up today, that is.

As adult like as that seems, he also fucked up by not giving his new workplace a heads up before it was time to do the training. OOPS!
I did not interfere. I let him work this mistake out on his own, while I waited in the car. (chewing on my teeth)

Sounds like he'll still have a job when his school finishes.
Lots of adulting for him lately.

I want a small school bus as a dedicated flea market vehicle I came close to getting one once but needed a daily driver at the time.

You can get some really weird stuff at estate sales this is the odd item for today

I think there may be something wrong in the world of hazelnut coffee.  :dunno: I primarily drink hazelnut coffee but recently it's tasting and smelling bad. At first I thought it was the brand of coffee, because Aldi didn't have any one week and I bought some at WalMart instead. I tossed that coffee and opened up an Aldi pack but it was bad too. Then I thought I might have covid because that's the first thing that came up when I googled it, but both the guys also agreed the coffee didn't smell good like it usually did, and the boy agreed it also taste like crap. Then I figured the coffee machine needed cleaning, but that didn't make any difference either. Since the coffee machine was fairly old, I bought a new one and also a different brand of hazelnut coffee I've never bought before. Still total crap coffee. It's possible all three of those brands get their coffee from the same manufacturer and only the packaging is different, or maybe there's just something wrong in the world of hazelnuts. I bought a pack of regular coffee and it seems okay. It actually smells like coffeee. I won't say it tastes good because it's not really my preference, but at least it doesn't taste bad. I've thrown away three packs of opened hazelnut coffee and I have two more unopened in the cabinet. I'm terrible about returning things, so I'm not sure what I'll do about that.  :dunno:

A couple of weeks ago I noticed the cat cupboard smelling bad. I found that the smell was coming from the dry food which is kept in a container. To me it smells like spew but the cats are eating it, especially Kira who loves dry food. Today I fed him the last of it and I'm going to buy new stuff. A different flavour this time.

There were only 14 people at the dance social today, which is an abysmal turnout. The numbers for this particular social one saturday a month have been dwindling for some time. Nobody from the other classes except for a few (including me and mum) want to go to it  :-\
