Honestly, around here in Indiana, it has been the wimpiest winter I have ever seen.  I do realize that I have tipped the hat of the winter Goddess, with this post and she will be all about proving my wrongs.

I'm guessing that's what you did. It's been so cold here this week, there was frost on the roofs and grass one morning and there's been falling iguana warnings.  :lol1: When it's that cold here then I assume it's ungawdly cold everywhere else.  :zoinks:

Not everywhere, heheh. It's ungawdly hot here. In the high 30s this week. Records have been broken here for the hottest summer ever.

It was above freezing here today. That's not supposed to happen in January.

Next week is going to be back to -15C though.

It looks like the wax on the table is going to be a success. :woohoo: I'll probably do another treatment soon for good measure, but I'm not sure when. It's big grocery shop week and I also want to do the cars this weekend.  :dunno:

The people who bought my old place would have had their first strata AGM today or yesterday. Buyers remorse yet? :zoinks:

If those two linger in my mind any longer, I am going to fucking lose it... better off ignoring the physical pain that caused my LOA, I'm going to have a cup of tea.

Move along... nothing to see here, listen to John Coltrane you whiny "pity party meh!"

Aldi didn't have about six things I needed on my shopping list, and they seemed really low on several other things. I don't know if it was bad timing on my part or something else. I've read some places are having distribution issues, but I haven't noticed any problem there and I assumed it's because they mainly sell their own products. I was able to find alternate replacements at Walmart but I have scarsity fears about sugarbutt's dietary needs and the experience was very triggering. :GA:

On Thursday nights I usually buy our dinner from Aldi on the way home from work - burgers and salad. A couple of weeks ago there was practically nothing there to buy, no meat, no salad and no bread buns. So I went home disappointed and empty handed. We ended up having sandwiches for dinner.

I feel for you, Gary, running around to multiple places to get the groceries you need is no fun.

I go to walmart once per week anyway because there's a couple things the guys like which aldi doesn't have, plus I buy household supplies there and we usually need something, so that part was no big deal, but yeah, it was the meat section that stressed me out the most. I'm hoping it was just bad timing. I used to shop on the weekends as soon as they opened in the morning and everything was fully stocked for the day. Being at home all the time made it possible to pop over on lunch break on Fridays, then go to walmart friday evening, and that meant not having to go anywhere at all the whole weekend. I've noticed since the vaccine rollout, aldi has become super busy at noon on friday. I've grown to really like staying home all weekend and just focusing on Sugarbutt and the house, but I may just need to go back to shopping as soon as they open in the morning.  :dunno:

Why god why?

I think it's something everyone is inclined to do.  :dunno:

Current breakout might only be partly due to monthly hormones, the other part might be a dirty face cleansing cloth.

I've spent time comparing audio streaming services. Most make it difficult to use their services in Linux. The one that doesn't, Spotify, is the on I want to get away from.
