OK...I just listened to the whole thing...there are so many kinds of wrong in that song.

"I took my turn riding Teddy Bear"?

Sounds like a bunch of devo truckers hanging out at a little boys house. I was waiting for the chorus.

You win.
Red Sovine was definitely horrid.  :thumbdn:

Believe it or not, there's a sequel!  :aff:

I don't know why it's not showing, but I responded to this post yesterday.  :-\

Anyways. What I wanted to say was, I didn't believe it could get any worse, but the sequel was just  :facepalm2:.

Actually, it could get worse, you could be the poor person who's claim to fame was that your Mother *sang* (loose term), the song "Teddy Bear - The Sequel"...

how fucking embarrassing would that be!

That would totally suck! My mother is cool, she would never have done anything that awful.  :agreed:

Thank you for re-posting! I agree, it's pretty embarrassing. It wasn't clear to me from the song itself, but the Wikipedia entry
said that "Teddy Bear's Last Ride" refers to the fact that one of the many 18-wheelers in the procession is used as the boy's hearse.
Would that even have been legal?  *reminds self...it's OK, it's only a song!*   :screwy:

There is another really awful song,  don't know who sings it
but i think it's called 'is this the way to amarillo?'  or something like that

anyway it has to go on the list.  It's proper pants.

Ickily over-the-top slow-dance-type song,
heard it constantly at work in the 80s, hate it!

Cheech and Chong might make the Macarena more tolerable for you:
