What is your favourite plane?
I don't have one favorite plane because there's no such thing as one plane that can do all missions.
In the "bush plane" category, my favorite is the
Helio Courier. Think of it as a flying 4x4 pickup truck. It can seat up to 6 people and it can take-off and land inside of a postage stamp. Nothing made by Cessna can match its performance. They were used extensively by covert ops in the Vietnam war.
For cross-country single piston engine, my favorite is the
Mooney M20 series. The J model was the first production aircraft to break 200 mph on a 200hp engine. The TN model (AKA Acclaim Type S) is the fastest production single piston airplane at 242 kts (278 mph).

My favorite piston twin is the
Beechcraft Model 18 I just love the classic radial engined tail draggers.
My favorite turboprop isn't in production yet. It's the Kestrel. It's going to be produced in Superior Wisconsin, but the earliest projected date for production models will be in 2015.

I've flown in a Mooney M20K 231.
Do you have a pilots license?
Not yet. However, I've already bought all the course materials, and I've read all the books and studied for the tests. When the money for flight school comes, I'll be ready.
