I heard something about the moon coming closer to Earth than usual in several days and causing a chain of freak natural disasters. I personally find that to be a crock of bullshit.

Looks like a possible Three Mile Island event is imminent over there.

Existence actually has two broad meanings despite its apparent meaningless. The constant reconciliation of all its parts, and the conservation of any closed system as a whole.

Morality can be extrapolated from these meanings to make these two commandments of godless morality: 1). Be in harmony with one another and 2). Care for the environment.

Video of a hydrogen gas explosion which destroyed the containment building around the reactor:

It's not as if people haven't died before, it's pointless to get too attached because you can't save em anyway.

I read about that in the newspaper. That said much the same, that it was a crock of bullshit, nothing to do with the earthquake.

That's because it is bullshit. The moon is slowly pulling away from the earth.

Reactor 2's suppression pool has now exploded with a high chance that it's containment shield has been breached; and Reactor 4 building has an out of control fire inside it and possibly leaking radioactive material too. They're evacuating all but 50 workers at the plant and people between 20-30 kilometres away are told to stay indoors. Radiation reading around the plant have reached up to 100 millisieverts (100,000 microsieverts) which is dangerous to human health.

TL;DR: Japan is very likely fucked.

EDIT: Now it's 400 millisieverts, but I can't confirm that.

By the way, that's only from Fukushima Nuclear Plant no.1 which houses those 4 reactors, Plant no.2 is also likely experiencing significant problems too but is under reported.
