Chips are soggy crisps by the very sound of it, and far from a pleasure to eat.
(Dutch call it chips in dutch btw, but, since I am writing in English here,
CRISPS it will be, in my dialect it is a kind of knabbelgerak and that sounds nice and crispy too.)
