I find it funny how some people think this is a made up holiday by companies to make money. No it was made up by St Valentine's or whatever. Hallmark and other companies make the cards and the candy and other items for money.

Sounds like the same thing happening here, but with Halloween instead, thankfully its being an failure so far.
