If you think the other threads aren't appropriate for that, then the answer is yes.

It would seem so.

Even if this wasn't the appropriate thread, it would still be appropriate. :nerd!:

Opinions are like armpits. Everyone has a couple and they all stink.

One of the worst jobs in history

"An Arming Squire"
The Knights who fought in medieval times  relied on their 'Arming Squires' to provide them with fresh weapons and horses as the day progressed.

During these long battles, Knights didn't bother to take off their armour to go for a toilet break. Instead, they would do their business straight into their armour and spend the day swilling around in the mess. At the end of the fighting, it was the job of the Knight’s 'Arming Squire'  to clean his master’s armour of blood, mud – and everything else. There was no easy way of doing this: the biggest lumps of filth were scraped off by hand, and the rest was removed with grass, gravel and sand.

I would have been off sick a lot of the time.  :M
blah blah blah

Are you actually trying to make me feel better?

I think I do, but a large part of this feeling is due to a decent night of sleep for the first time in about ten days. We had about five inches of heavy snow overnight. That always makes most of the city quiet and peaceful.

^ There was no intent.   :hahaha:

There is a series on TV about horrible histories.  The other job description which made me frown was a Roman 'puke collector'
