I simply despise the religion and therefore think anyone who follows it is wrong

I know of muslims who are definitely not violent, so why would I have claimed they are responsible for the actions of other muslims?

There are muslims doing horrible things and trying to justify themselves by their belief.
There are others, standing up against that, who are inspired by their belief too.

Islam in itself isn't the problem, it's how you use it.

i think you got an aspie-obsessive muslim-hating thing going on, that has very little to do with reality.

theres tons of hot middle eastern guys, and tons of hot middle eastern chicks. and for the vast majority, their religion is just like any other, its some background-buzz to their normal routine (school, work, go shopping, etc)

i mean, some years ago two norwegian guys raped and killed two 10 year old girls. there was also an incident of a norwegian kindergarden teacher raping kindergardeners. then there was the norwegian bank robbers who killed a cop in cold blood. my brother has a norwegian friend, all white, who beats up his gf.

You too, come from a history that is inherently sexist, and it evolved. Should you denounce all of your history, because it was sexist. Makes no sense. It will keep evolving too.
Religions evolve. In christian theology you saw all kinds of critical reading emerge, and in the last century that critical reading was taken over by women and gay people, in lots of churches they found a place, and a freedom to be who they are, with theology on their side. In muslim theology that will be different in the way it will come, but, there are already muslim women starting to interpret texts in their history, and re-explaining them in the context of today. The first cracks of critical reading are there. And yes, there are fundamentalists. They are found within every thinking pattern.
