Nah, I don't live in the US since I'm based in the UK and apparently what happened was, they were digging out something, not sure if it was fitting in fibre optics or gas or whatever right outside of the house and apparently they somehow destroyed the electricity cable and as a result, some of us in my area were unable to live with electricity.
