 I still remember the first time I ever saw a mean grandma for real!  I never knew any of my grandparents, so in my mind grandparents were like

I posted here years ago. My bipolar, which was fairly mild most of my life, was starting to affect me in a very negative way, exacerbated by stress and drug use. Therapy and medication have helped a great deal.

I was never particularly close to my grandmother. She was a rather eccentric and difficult woman.

Rather than the basement, a cauldron would be better?

Cauldrons and the undead... reminds me of the movie The Black Cauldron. That movie scared the fuck out of me when I was a kid.
