Existence actually has two broad meanings despite its apparent meaningless. The constant reconciliation of all its parts, and the conservation of any closed system as a whole.

Morality can be extrapolated from these meanings to make these two commandments of godless morality: 1). Be in harmony with one another and 2). Care for the environment.

theyre gonna shoot him, or lock him up and throw away the key

what do you think?
neckshot or life in prison?

A regrettable accident after his charges have been dropped.

Yes that is what I had my money on.
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

How to apologise to Scrap

In any case, the guy is a goner.

That would be my guess as well.

Julian Assange may say, "Don't shoot the messenger,"  but if he were a Russian citizen enticing people into giving him another country's state secrets for their own idealogical reasons and he gave them to his government, that would be considered espionage.  I don't know why it's suppposed to be so different because he's Australian and giving the secrets to everyone on the internet.

after seeing the nature of some of these secrets i am glad.
it seems almost like the more childish, immature and unprofessional the communication, the more secret it will get labelled...

Maybe the US should a) guard their secrets a little better and b) think twice before giving personal judgment in email.

Guarding secrets better would be a prudent move but honestly info like this is common I am sure in any government or large corporation this was just aired publicly.  I read one article that talked about how the government was criticized for keeping so much information so close before 911 and that contributed to the foul up in intel. Now it swung back the other way with way too many people having access to it.

Oh yes.

Wikileaks has stuff on Sweden, too. Most of the little there is is next to insignificant and just barely embarrassing to those involved. The reason why there isn't more on us, Finland, Norway, etc, is that we just aren't all that important.

It's all about the money and fame for him not so much about the information maybe it was at first but it has grown into such a monster.  He gets naive people to give him secret documents he exposes them makes money gets on the news what do they get?  Arrested jail time,  and like you said the latest batch was mostly just embarrassing.  I would understand more if he had uncovered something we didn't know because we all know most politicians and diplomats are assholes.

It will probably lead to more regulation and loss of freedom on the net than anything else.  Like I said if it was uncovering some great secret cover up or something it might have been worth it

I'm worried about that too. Strangely enough, some conspiracy theorists speculate that all this was deliberate for that very reason. However the fallout of this leak shows that a consider amount of people aren't buying the bullshit the government is saying. The final draw card in the game is the insurance file, if that is decrypted and is as destructive as it made out to be, this is nothing what we're seeing right now.

Bear in mind these cables leaked go all the way back to 1966 and stop at February 2010; and approximately 2,000 of 251,287 of them have been released. So a LOT of information is still encrypted and undisclosed.
