You mean you're sexually attracted to me but it makes you feel uncomfortable and confused about your sexuality?

It's ok!

Lots of people are!

This is real fucking music, not that mainstream anti-individuality bullshit that the record companies put out and sell billions of copies of every year, because let's face it, most people are under media control.

Are usually just as brainwashed as the people they despise. For such "pure music", it sounds like the same bullshit to me.

The best Thanksgiving music is "I'll do the dishes dear."

Okay, then tell me what sounds like what I posted that is mainstream?

Don't you get it? The point is that no one but idiots really care whether their music is "mainstream" or not. Who gives a shit? (apart from fucktards like you obviously)

I did dishes today! I do dishes every day! I'd make the best housewife!    :multitask:

That was not my point. My point is that I think the genre sounds pretty much the same, making it as bad as the "mainstream" music you despise, IMO.

I don't get the obsession with whether music is mainstream or not, personally I'd like something regardless if it's well known or not. Sure I don't like most music of today myself, but does that warrant me to be a prick about it?

Rush is damn near mainstream, but they are the very definition of independent, thinking man's music.  :police:

I should also add: If the music you like somehow became mainstream, would you listen to it then?

I've been a bit of a fuddy-duddy with music most of my life.  I grew up with Spike Jones, Six Fat Dutchman, Sophie Tucker.  As a teen I couldn't stand the Beatles (sorry Odeon), but was a Dave Clark 5 fan.  All my life I've liked bagpipes, harp, classical, some show tunes and quirky music (Napoleon XIV).  But I also liked Chicago (DOA), and some generic current stuff.

I guess I never found the river and don't worry what is mainstream.  I listen to what I like and don't worry about labels.  I have found that I usually don't like songs that ago on over 4 minutes or that are operatic, guitar or violin solos.

In all honesty the best Thanksgiving music are the sounds of a healthy, happy family.
