Butyric anhydride, cinnamyl chloride, or some cinnamic anhydride and a little diisopropylamine or pyridine. Probably go with diisopropylamine, or maybe Hunig's base, diisopropylethylamine. The diisopropylamine though I won't have to buy, since commercial glyphosate weedkiller, comes often as the diisopropylamine salt. A quick acid-base and workup, and another project gestating, which makes for a happy, flappy Lestat :autism:

I need all kinds of cleaners with an ammonia base, for rodent repulsion purposes! :pirate:

CBC-get ammonium phosphate or sulfate fertilizer, and a bottle of caustic soda. The latter, being a stronger base, will displace ammonia from its salts, ammonia being the weaker base. Cool the solution in an ice bath to help it absorb as much as possible and bubble the resultant gas through water. Or better, through OTC dilute NH3 (aqueous ammonia water) not the sudsy crap, just plain NH3(aq). Using a hose and aquaculture airstone will help diffuse the ammonia into the water and give you as strong a liquor ammonia as you wish up until its saturation limits.

If you want ANHYDROUS ammonia, generate it using calcium oxide (quicklime) as the base, since it generates no hydroxide ions, and just a ml or so of H2O, or even less.and an ammonium salt. I mention the phosphate and sulfate mainly because they are obtainable in a muckyish grade as fertilizer from hardware stores and even this stuff works fine for NH3 gas generators. Use dry ice to condense anhydrous, if thats  what you want. For anhydrous, a gas mask and blast shield over the face is mandatory. I nearly lost an eye due to an ammonia generator producing annie. Albeit I didn't know it was an NH3 generator. Long story, and one best not told.

Bollocks. Just realized, I need some acetonitrile (methyl cyanide). I'm fresh outa MeCN. Need more non-ketonic polar aprotic solvents generally, DMSO, DMF, N-methylpyrrolidone as well albeit that has a carbonyl group, hexamethylphosphoramide (ew ew ew ew ew ew ew ew)

And I really want some propylene and ethylene carbonates. Ionic liquid solvents generally, I want to experiment with some, for, rather than inert-gas shielded, solvent-based and shielded electrolysis of salts of the alkali and alkaline earth metals. Plus the lanthanides, doing the electrolysis of solutions of the salts of the former two at least in propylene or ethylene carbonate, depending on whatever has the better solubility of the two for alkali metal salts.

Sounds really pretty.

I think that would look good on her :)

I need some tanks of inert gas, and fresh polyvalent filter cartridges for my gas mask. Could do with picking up a tinted full face welding visor for working with electric arcs as well, because otherwise exposure can cause what is known as 'arc eye', due to the intense UV radiation given off by a powerful and sustained electric arc and it is meant to be excruciatingly painful. And my eyes are already oversensitive. Can't think of anything else, other than spending my lab equipment and chemical budget on, surprise surprise, lab equipment and chemicals. Going to really treat myself as I've saved up for a significant time, months in order that I may have a large fat wad of £££ in my bank and wallet ready for such treating of self.

Oh, and I need to get myself some glass to metal connection-soldering solder as well. Lots of goodies for the lab and for engineering projects related to such endeavors as I get up to whilst I am 'doing my thing' so to speak :) Such as for example, an electrolytic cell designed for a certain, specific dedicated use and purpose custom-built for the job by yours truly. And I'll enjoy every minute of it too :autism:

Scratch from list.  She found a mess of cheap large ones that will do nicely.  All bright colours, thin and easily twistable.

I find the really thin ones unreliable. They snap too easily when your hair is as long as line is.

The snapping problem is easily solved.  They're good for one use.  Then she loses them.
