i knew this would happen tho, its a well-worn work-computer i got from my dads work.

right now it works, and it sortof goes on and off with games, but you know... thats no good. the past 2 days games has crashed catastrophically every 30 minutes, plus i get random crashes concerning modem and whatnot, idunno. i just dont trust it to last that much longer, and i barely dare play games on it.

i was just glad it surpassed the one i had at the time, but i guess its nearing its end allready.
i really want a completely fresh computer tho.
and goddamn, if i get struck by bad luck and failures after paying 10K for a brand new one, your all gonna see me on the news, i swear. there will be people on fire.

I just put together a new PC for $1800.  with a six core processor and 8GB of ram its pretty nice

my first computer was a 1st rate gaming computer. i could run all the latest games at maximum settings - and i didnt even have the wits to appreciate it. totally took it for granted.
6 months later, any game i had to play on medium settings "aw :("
4 years later, i fried its insides.
ever since then i had to play anything on rock-bottom settings

this computer is still old, but a bit more muscly than the one i had, but i still have to play old-ish games on medium. brand new games are simply out of my reach.

skublue: ill probably do something along those lines

how come the better the computer, the less stuffed w tons of shit? its my impression anyway
they always look so open and free and airy

this one is SO jammed up w crap its impossible to clean inside, its almost impossible to move anything around.

i had to get a graphics card for it when i got it, and i spent like 30 minutes sneaaaaking the fucker in there without breaking anything. i was sweatting and trembling. thats not right :(

i hate typos that entirely reverse the meaning :S

thats a pretty big tower...plent of ventilation. Runs smoothly at 43 degrees C. even with folding at home running. ( hell it ways 50lbs by it self) I enjoyed watching the UPS guy walk up the steps with that. The clock is actually running at 3.6GHz

haha reminds me of when i fried my computer, the old one, the tower was pretty huge too (it was the olden days), i have no car, nobody cared, so i took my baby in my arms, and walked through the city with it

its not a big city
but its a pretty damn big thing to carry around :D
