Yes, it would upset me. Not because it is would be the pope, but because it would be a brutal murder.


Making a martyr of the leader of a group is counter-productive most of the times too I think. So, it would not change anything for the better either.

The Pope has never been accused of raping small boys. Whether he has or not is not known so therefore conjecture cannot be made.

Wishing anyone to be assassinated is dire. Saddam Hussein displayed many horrific traits and destroyed lives and cultures, but how do we know the whole story? We don't. I did not live there and he did have many supporters.

How can anyone decide who lives and who dies? Is that not against the law? Casting aspersions has consequences both morally and societally. Reaching conclusions with only half of the facts and media tripe causes death and destruction. One cannot judge the Pope or the Catholic church on a select few people of that church who did horrendous things.

It is like saying that all Germans hated Jews because of Hitler. Gross generalisations.

I don't think the pope has molested children (although I wouldn't be surprised if he has, sad yes, but not surprised). I dislike the guy intently because of the things he's said and the views he's had. I'm not going to kill him, but if some other nutcase did then I definitely wouldn't be upset about it. There are other people who deserve assassinating more though, like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

Yes, I am sorry to say that I am NOT a fan of capital punishment. Just because they made it law, does not make it right. You can't kill, but we can! What a hypocrisy! I will not go in to the politics of war. War is neither organised, or fair, or justified, even if it is real and necessary to defend oneself, from both sides. Human beings will always destroy themselves, in the name of justice, religion, fear, money and power. I have a deck chair and a pair of Dolce and Gabbana sunnies for the event. I also have my bunker ready.
