Why Trigger 11 is an asshole...
Well, he doesn't compromise his beliefs.
This includes refusing to sell cigarettes at his first job as a
teenager, resulting in his being fired.
In college, he refused to let a couple of floormates in his residential
college have sex while watching his copy of Star Wars. For that he was
labeled an anal retentive shithead, or what he refers at times as an
ARSH.
In a summer job he was asked to log his daily activities each day on a
full piece of blank paper, which he felt was wasteful and could be done
in a journal. As the summer went by, he did log his activities, which
consisting of cutting grass here and trimming edges there at Kentucky
Kingdom Amusement Park. Usually one or two lines max for the entire day.
Towards the end of the summer his supervisor asked where his daily log
sheets were and he said he hadn't been doing them because it was such a
waste of paper. Management became furious and directed him to do so the
rest of the summer or else. He offered his other solution and they
refused even though it provided the same information. He quit on the
spot, never letting them know he had the entire summer's data right
there in his pocket.
More recently he was given a direct supervisory order to kill a tree and
print a document by his manager's boss when there was absolutely no need
to print the document and he refused on the grounds it violated his
personal beliefs, aka religion.
He also refused to divert government appropriated funds to fund his
management's pet projects, which is in direct violation of appropriation
laws and regulations. This decision was made after seeking outside
counsel from government lawyers who then granted him whistleblower
status, something he continues to maintain in his back pocket,
unbeknownst to his management.
He often exercises his right of way in crosswalks, especially in parking
lots, much to the angst of the local rednecks who seem to think that
they have the right of way because they are in a motorized vehicle and
can run you over if they so choose. This often results in shouting
matches and cursing and we all know where that got him.
He also refuses to get out of the way for another vehicle that is
driving on the wrong side of the road or the wrong way down a one-way
street or aisle. This often results in shouting matches and cursing as
well.
He is highly opinionated and set in his ways, often uncompromising.
For this and many other things he is an asshole!
