What kind of heating do you have? Could a small investment in a thermostat make a difference? Enabling you to lower the heating in your room? Would save your landlady a lot on heating-costs

i doubt it. the bitch is old and very cranky! i live on the side of her house in a studio apartment, she controlls the heat from her house, and since im such a nice guy and i know shes old, i dont wanna complain about the heat. and i know she wont fucking go for installing my own control device, because shes a jew

But, her not wanting you to make her bills bigger.... there are thermostats that will allow you to control the heat that comes in at your place. You can't increase it over what she allows you to have, only can regulate getting less. So, if it is possible on the heating system you have, she will still be the one in control over the maximum you use. You can only bring it down. Will save her money, and, energy prices will go up massively soon enough, it will be worth it, even for an old landlady.
