Purely out of interest, where exactly are you from?
My fiance is first generation Australian but of Dutch heritage, so what do you think of Holland?
I am first generation Australian, but my family is from Europe. I am from Spanish, French, Italian and English descent, so am I a greasy, pizza eating, flamenco dancing, wine drinking wog?
There is a big difference between being interested in genealogy, history or genetics and being a flat out racist.
I really dislike you, and I barely even know you. But from what I have seen, you have nothing intelligent to say.
So, I am asking you to outline in point form what exactly you are talking about and substantiate with facts, so that I can understand what it is you are doing here, other than flaming.
Have you had a traumatic event with the French, or peoples from other parts of Europe?

1. Norway - is your heritage Norwegian? Do you have anything discriminatory to say about your own countrymen? Just out of interest.
2. That is a very broad generalisation. Have you met any Australians with English ancestry? (with 2 or 3 generations ago, it would have been the majority of Australians), and if so, did you find them boring? A note and example: Just because there is a small representation of the Islamic population who are extremist Muslims and act as terrorists, does not mean that ALL of Islam is full of terrorists. To say otherwise is a false statement based on the lack of facts and evidence to back it up. So if you met one Australian of English ancestry who was boring, it does not mean that ALL are boring.
Please also define what you mean as "boring". In what context are you using this term to describe a certain peoples?
3. No traumatic event is good. I am glad that you did not have to go through something horrible, but it makes me all the more confused as to your motivations.
For example: I am a misanthropist generally but not necessarily judgemental. I do not discriminate as I tend to hold most of the human race accountable for stupid and horrific deeds and basic skullduggery and I can generally back my misanthropy by having a basic understanding of psychology, genetics, the understanding of the "pack mentality" and human nature. That is my "modus operandi" but when I am confronted with singular acts of discrimination, there must be a motivation for that singular event, otherwise it is just "words without substance".
You are entitled to your opinion as we all are. But it is best to hold your opinions close to you until you actually have some facts to back them up, or state "This is just my opinion" or "This is just a feeling that I have" or "Anecdotally speaking......." and so on. You also have to be open to the idea of discussing your opinions and being mature enough to concede when the argument is lost due to lack of said facts.
