I still make too many mistakes when learning Latin.  :thumbdn:

My only comfort is that the "ordinary" Roman 2000 years ago probably made many more. One can see pretty gross grammatical mistakes in Roman grafitti, for instance.

I get ectopic heart beats and it makes me feel weird when they happen, like I am being drained. They stopped for a while when I started taking calcium and vitamin D but now they have started up again. Vitamin D is supposed to be good for heart regularity.

And if one, 2000yrs from now, were to judge English by the graffiti now days you'd come to similar conclusions.

Does your doctor know about these?  Do you have a murmur?  :orly:

I have been to a cardiologist and he gave me an ECG and of course my heart behaved itself the whole time. He said ectopic beats were pretty common and that a lot of people don't even notice when they have them. But to me, mine are very noticeable. I don't have a murmur as far as I know.

I do not have a fear of heights.  I can stand quite still on a high structure and feel fine.  What I fear is fallling.  If I'm swaying or what I'm in (ferris wheel) is moving I get terrified and elevators/escalators don't bother me.

Oddly enough I tried to cure myself by riding the Reisenradt (sp?) in Vienna.  Didn't have a single moment of fear, possibly because the whole "room" was moving.  Tried another carnival ride and terror was back.

I see no sense in subjecting myself to feeling like that

So I dont

The Reisenradt was back in 1976, the carnival ride was in 1984.  Ever since then it's been the occasional school fair ride, which since the PR is no longer in school isn't a bother.  In any case between spine and neck arthritis, fast rides are out.

Thanks for the correction.  I have a "tourist trap" print of it in a simple black frame somewhere in the house.  I really loved looking at it.

I got the Tu, the felix and the Austria.  Enough to say yeah, Austria was nice.  Went to the University of Innsbruck one summer through the University of New Orleans summer program.  But my heart is in England.
