I started college at the age of 2. My Dad was taking German as his foreign language. It was only offered at the female college. Mom wasn't happy that he would be taking it with coeds. So, since she was pregnant with my sister, she would pretend to be sick sometimes when he had German classes so he would have to take me. She wanted to make sure the female students knew he was married with child(ren.)

Wasn't there a cigarette that advertised it was a silly little millimete longer? That's vaguely familiar to me now that you mention it. I wonder how many extra puffs you get from that!

I tend to make fairly simple things quite complicated at times. I kinda use Ockham's (or Boerhaave's) adage 'simplex sigillum veri' to remind me to keep it simple.

I like clocks that tick.
