I can drive, but I have problems with road rage.

I don't just go for a walk tho. I'm gone from days, to weeks.

I don't have a driver's license nor a car. I have a few people who can help a little with transportation. The nearest bus stop is several blocks away, I'm a fatass, so I'm not that motivated to walk that far, especially when I have to dodge traffic, sometimes across four lane roads! :viking: Ever since I got hit by a car several months ago, I have been quite fearful about walking/taking the bus to where I want to go.

And I hate crosswalks at intersections, because you never know when some fucker will make the "right on red" turn, which is sadly LEGAL in some cases! It's much safer to jaywalk across the road in the midst of a block, because you only have to worry about traffic coming from 2 directions, rather than 3 or 4.

I enjoy walking, but I have a travel pass for unlimited free bus, train and ferry travel. This applies to anywhere in the country, including N. Ireland.

In my neck of the woods there's a Mobility Impaired Transit System.  It's basically a minibus that transports physically/mentally disabled people and an attendant, if needed, to and from the house within the county.  It costs about $2 a trip, which isn't bad.  Maybe there's something similar where you are.

I have been on the DSP since 2005. That's when I quit my full-time job as a forklift driver and machine operator. I was just too unstable and had mental health issues. Since then I have worked at a bakery but the hours got too long and I had a couple of meltdowns there so I quit.

Now I am a student because I thought I either had to get another job or study something. I am in my second year studying psychology. It hasn't been easy, just got out of hospital again in July for mental health stuff. I get paid a bit extra for being a student.
hello renaeden! are you and galioace still a thing? good luck in college :2thumbsup:
Hello richard. :) No, GA and I have split up and I am now living with my parents. And thanks, uni is hard but I am doing ok.

Shit I'm slow to news, I'm sorry to hear that. :(

But it's good to hear you're alright though. :)

Existence actually has two broad meanings despite its apparent meaningless. The constant reconciliation of all its parts, and the conservation of any closed system as a whole.

Morality can be extrapolated from these meanings to make these two commandments of godless morality: 1). Be in harmony with one another and 2). Care for the environment.

What did you fucking thought, Rage? With that fucking junkie brain of yours? What kind of dirty ideas do you have about me molesting farm animals or fantasizing about homo-sex?

Are you even listening or are you just HIGH as usual? Or STONED on painkillers? :wanker:

Yeah, I went to hospital for a while but everything turned out ok, I got some good therapy and had my meds changed. GA and I still see each other, we went to the movies yesterday. He is doing a uni preparation course now and I am proud that he is getting through it well.

Geez, no wonder you are fearful of traffic. Were you injured?

Yes, I was injured. My left knee and ankle were fracture. I had to use crutches for several weeks until I could walk again. That really sucked.
