The place is majestic and lofty like you wouldn't believe. and it's where i will retire for a nice realxing time. with any luck i'll see some scary elk that frequent the meadow.

That look like a beautiful place to camp, Richard.  I hope you enjoy it.  The elk are nice to watch, so I hope you see some while you are there.  I think it is rutting season for them now, so it might be interesting to hear the bull elk bugle, if you have not already heard it before.  Aren't there some black bears living in that area too?  Don't keep food in your tent, if there are.

yes there are bears and mountain lions up there. and i've heard the beagle the elks make, its very cool! we are bringing a gun just incase a bear wants our food and for overall general protection.
