Someone I know told me anger is actually better than depression, because with anger you can let it all out, whereas depression bottles it all up. So feeling pissed and angry now and then releases the safety valve. Also, posting your feelings on forums as well vents the frustrations - never mind if there are dickheads that pooh-pooh what you have to say. There are plenty of good people around who will listen to what you have to say, and lots of them may be going through the same shit as well.

it was actually a turning point in life when i decided to _handle_ depression.
i did first turn it into anger, and my god how angry i was...
i had bursts of anger so dark and intense it would almost cause me to just black out
but from there on, i only felt better.
the as diagnosis, which i got very late, was sortof the last piece i needed to my own puzzle, and since then i feel honkey dorey really.
the only thing i fear is another world war while i live.
