I'm getting my 1st tattoo

Nah not really, a little anxious perhaps.
A guy who my girlfriend worked with at a cafe, who is an amazing visual artist, has just taken to needle art.
He needs meat to practice on so it will be very affordable for me. Otherwise it would not be on my agenda.
I'm confident in his skill, as he has done a few and the results I've seen are good.

I asked him to design a piece based on Eliphas Levi's image of Baphomet. I've uncovered my love of this image before,

Here is the primary design, and a slight revision based on a couple of suggestions I made.



It's going in the middle of my chest.
It will be staring me in the mirror for the rest of my life.

My grandfather got a tattoo when he was young and regretted getting it when he was older, but I know you aren't him.

Maybe the artist needs to hone his technique (I'm his 4th client) but I can't imagine something drastically more painful. Where it overlaps the ribs (tops of wings) was the worst!

It is probably more a matter of getting used to the needle work Vodz, I recall my first tattoo on my chest hurt like hell, by the 4th or 5th not so much. As long as you get pro shit tattoos are worth having and this will probably not be your only one.

That tattoo of yours is 1 trillion times cooler than my mate's (he is a evangelical christian) tattoo on his arm of the hebrew word for grace.
