I woke up this morning and it was snowing. It melted as soon as it hit the ground though.

Who cares if it's over 120 days old.  Just scrape the mold off and eat it.

The side effect will be apparent with my next post.

This is two houses I can't believe they built them so close together there can't be more than three feet apart.

It is like that in my old neighborhood in my hometown a lot.

It was all plans of identical houses that was supposed to be where the coal miners lived. So, they are almost identical half-double houses, and there was a yard in the middle that was also measured out perfectly.

Well, a few dozen years ago, someone built houses in those yards, also identical. So now it is house after house of half-doubles, and no yards, and everything is all smooshed together like that.

People have painted and done addiction and stuff, so it is not all totally identical - but I bet it used to be.

That's fairly common in the older sections of New Orleans and a lot of other cities.  Long, skinny lots with houses built one room after another (Shotgun house because you could shoot a shotgun at the front door and it would go through the house and not hit anything) or shotgun houses with a side hall.  Anyway, there is usually 3 feet or less between the houses which makes walking betweem the houses fun when people started putting in window A/C units.

These are on the beach.  I worked on a few like this where there where neighbors would not let you put a ladder in their yard to reach the second floor windows

There this Italian cook on the cooking channel that keeps on saying 'ecco fatto'* when he finishes some little job preparing some food. I haven't counted his 'ecco fatto's but think he uses it over 20 times during the p/m 10 minutes show. Well, I like the chap..

*it means: and.. done/there you go.. finished.. simple ey (or something alike).

Painting with an expensive professional grade paint brush makes a very big difference I had always figured it didn't make a difference but it does
