I still think it was my first idea, that they ordered 11oz bottles but later found out that they could fit an additional .2oz and added it.  They may have made this addition to use up the extra space to prevent the beer from having too much "slosh-around" space, or it could even be some Jamaican law requiring them to fill the bottle all the way up.

But sloshing around is FUN! :P

While the beer's in the back of a truck, if there's too much room for the beer to slosh around in, it'll do that on every bump and turn, resulting in the same effect you get when you shake up any carbonated beverage too much.

I had no idea beer was carbonated. :emb:

Of course it is.  Fermentation causes natural carbonation.  Have you never opened a can of beer and had it burst out?

OK, you might want to sit down for this---

( )

You definitely need to try it sometime, drinking beer's good too :P  Although it does give you a pot belly so I prefer to stick to spirits.

I already have a double-decker potbelly, and I hate beer (I had a sip of it in a glass one time).

They've shrunk the quarts of Haagen Daaz which cheesed my wife off when she found out.

it's probably a conversion from a metric size.

11.2 Fluid ounces (US) = 331.224 mls, so that doesn't seem right.

You forgot to round off. 330 ml. Is that a standard metric size? hello Europeans? or anyone else who uses the antiquated metric system?

Yes. It was really dropping from a 20 count box to 18, but the concept of downsizing crampons is funny.

Think of the false hope it would give the men... :2thumbsup:

Just seeing this for the first time in years; it's one of my bawdiest answers ever!   :yikes:

Want to agree with the gripe about 14-oz. "pints" of Haagen-Dazs.  >:(
