Haven't had an egg-cup around in several houses. Not eating right this moment, but I fancy myself a cigar and then to curl up on the sofa with a couple of steaks. Picked up some good looking beef steaks the other day, some sirloin and some fillet steaks, at just £4-5 a pack too. Think I'll take the time to cook for a change rather than just heating up some readymeal, and do myself a plate of steaks and fly agaric mushroom (Amanita muscaria) gravy with my special steak spice blend. Although I'll have to clean the spice grinder out thoroughly, as IIRC I last used it for making iron powder from wire wool [it worked quite well, for small quantities, for turning iron wool to fine dust]
I do make quite the fine steak spice blend, the fly amanita really does wonders, too bad it can't be bought, since it has to be hunted for and found, taken home and cured, to remove a neurotoxin; after that is done and they are dried to last out until the next harvesting season those little mushrooms work magic on a piece of beef.
Mmm, making my insides rumble at the thought that is. And either for supper or breakfast I've a couple of packs of king prawns, ready to eat, in the fridge that just need a soy&tabasco sauce dip making up and make a good breakfast and another pack for some time I feel like a snack. Right now though its BEEF that I want. Nice, sizzling slabs of dead cow, and lots of them.
And my pick from red grapefruit juice, or apple, ginger and pear juice to wash them down. I'll have my pain meds, that cigar and set to it. Nice and well done, thats how I like my steak, though, has to be thoroughly cooked through, I can't STAND the thought of meat thats pink inside, or worse, the way some people have it so much so it looks like it would try and kick you had it still got hooves; that is just repulsive IMO, meat that isn't even certain to be dead at the time of cooking.
