I found out that it is surprisingly easy to cancel someones credit card accounts with just the account number and the last four digits of the persons Social Security number. The calls weren't even made from  the billing address either.  Think of the revenge possibilities after a breakup

Some let you, but some of the major ones usually want a copy of the death cert mailed in. At least they did with me.  :P

Used to be able to do a lot with those last 4 numbers...certain banks all you needed was a canceled check w/the account # and those digits to pull up someone's account, among other things.

I could never be "that" heartless though. But I've always believed "knowledge is power". ;)

Your second statement  >:D  seems to trump your first  .  In time we shall see which side wins!  :mischief:

It does!  I get teary over things that normally wouldn't faze me, everything seems to have a veil of wistfulness over it.
Right now I am reminding myself that I always feel better when I take some positive action.
Harden the fuck up, etc.  But I appreciate knowing I'm not alone.

hardening the fuck up isn't really my style unless I'm dealing with a dysfunctional family member.
I'm a big baby otherwise.  :bigcry: (emo) :emosad:

Well, if you see your efforts at helping the family member are hurting you, harden the fuck up and say no!   :arrr:

MICE!  I have not gone to the flea market in seven weeks and today while loading the van I had a mouse jump out of my bin of dollar tools, inside there was a nest and four more.  I caught three of them and let them go in the shed the fourth unfortunately had gotten crushed by the tools when I was moving the box around.

Oh, poor baby mouse. :'(  Seriously.  Mice are cute when they're contained.

well, the PR managed to find a pair of glass frames in less than 3 minutes.  Amazing.  And they were only $28.

A special screw driver for tamper resistant screws that I lost six months or so ago.  It was behind a grinder/polishing station I have in my shed
