Yesterday I found a tini white Buddleja davidii growing in the gutters. Pulled it out and took it home. Not even 10 cm, and already proudly blooming. It survived the transition to a pot very well. It will get a good place in the garden, after it is well settled and with a decent root system.

Today I found that one of the cats I am taking care of for the holidays did well tonight.
Yesterday night she went into labour, the moment we were there to feed her. This morning when I checked, she was still in labour, but with some kittens around her too. When I looked again five minutes later, the last of the five kittens was born. All healthy and active.

White...cool.  8)  I have about 3 butterfly bushes but they're all purple.

I like how it is already blooming, this small. It probably is a seedling, from a garden where several shades of purple butterfly bushes are. This offers some promises.

Was it bone from the critter you think the cold cut came from? Or did the  :fatchef: have an accident, and was your cold cut fresher than ever before?

City meat ... squirrels, raccoons, pigeons?  I don't think I want those either.

Pigeon and squirrel are said to be really nice.

What kind of unprocessed meat are you thinking then? Just bringing a pig up with you on the stairs, to make your own bacon?

Imagine what your neighbours would write on possible forums they go to. "Sounds like my neighbour is dating a pig."  :zombiefuck:

I think I should just stick to fish, chicken and turkey, cooked fresh in the big oven at work.  :apondering:

More mouse nests while cleaning the shed in the back of tool boxes that I don't use much :GA:

You know the cat who bit you?  Now is his chance to redeem himself!   :kitten:

That cat doesn't go outside and the one that does I think has some sort of deal with them, he rarely ever leaves any dead mice around but I find dead birds all the time  even though the shed is one of his favorite hang outs

Find?
I sometimes find things dropped off from work trucks. I do not know why, but I have an eye for tools lost on the road.

About three weeks ago I found a really high quality framing hammer. Back just after the snow had melted, I found a really large pair of Channelock pliers - twenty six inches long and jaws that would bite an eight inch object - largest fucking Channelocks I had ever seen. Now they are mine.

Last year I found a nice shop broom, brand new just laying on the side of the road.

I know the thread is about today, but I just saw this thread today, so about yesterday, it was raining like a monsoon when I left work, but I spotted something. After making it to my car, getting myself comfortable, I became more and more curious about what I saw winking at me in the dusky light with rain blinding me and wind making everything cold. I decided to go back, turning on every light my car had and investigate.

I had seen a Gerber folding knife. Obviously, I was not the only one running to make it to the safety of my vehicle, but someone lost something of value.

Give me a while to post a pick.

It is a really cool knife.

Anyway this is what I saw wrenching my attention away from getting out of the rain, yesterday.
I know that someone is at a loss to have lost this treasure.

This is fucking awesome!
Not only that someone who gives a shit saw it, but that YOU were able to recognize it for what it will grow to be.

I have had a few successes making offspring from cuttings, but I have never had any seedlings come to flower.

And yet you just found one?
WOW!
